Linux is an operating system which is open source and free. Originally it was created by Linus Torvalds and it is a Unix-type of operating system. He coded it with the help of many developers from all around the world. It was developed under the GNU General Public License, the source code for Linux is freely available to everyone and this operating system is causing a revolution in the world os.
